Adding Panopto to Your Canvas Course

Navigate to the course you would like to add Panopto to. Go to the “Modules” section and click “Add a New Module"

Give the new Module a desired name and a click “Add Module”

Now that we have a new Module in our course, Lets add the external tool we created earlier to this module. Locate the module and click "Add item to module"

The external tool settings will populate into the same window. Here is where we’ll select the tool we created earlier when we were configuring providers for Panopto. A list of external tools available to you will be presented. Click the Panopto tool. For the “URL:”  field  enter in the following URL replacing panopto.school.edu with the hostname of your server:

http://panopto.school.edu/Panopto/BasicLTI/BasicLTILanding.aspx

 Give it a desired page name, check the "Load this tool in a new tab” box, and click "Add Item"
